You were the most wonderful Grandma a person could have. I never had grandma my blood grandmothers were both gone when my parents were little. So as other neighbers were growing up we all called you " Grandma Helen" We my brother and I also grown to you being Grandma to us. I have missed over the years going to Grandmas house but you moved into byron condos and started going to arizona where the warmer air was. I truley loved you and will miss you, and now u are in jesus arms resting in peace. Until we meet again Deb

"Grandma Helen" was one of the sweetest ladies I have ever met. We lived next to her on 84th Street in Byron Center and I spent many afternoons having crackers and cheese with her, picking boysenberries behind her house, and hanging out with her while she cleaned. :) She always had comforting words to say and knew how to make everyone around her feel special. I remember going over to her house and writing notes on her chalkboard when she was out, waiting for her to come home so I could listen to her play the piano. She was full of grace and kindness. Thanks for all the wonderful childhood memories. You will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. I look forward to meeting you again one day. Enjoy the glorious Heavens above!
 May all of her family and friends find comfort during these hard times by knowing that Grandma Helen made a great impact on many lives.

Mrs. Steffen was the nicest lady I have ever met. She was my neighbor for 6 years. She was very kind to my kids and I. She let me hook up to her water when my well wasn't working. My kids have so many fond memories of her. She was so sweet to them even if they were little trouble makers at times. ( Nicky painting her garage once with oil). (the 3 wheeler crashing through her fence). She was so forgiving! She will have many jewels in her crown in heaven I am certain. I will look forward to seeing her again in our heavenly home.

Honestly, I didn't really know my Aunt Helen well. But on behalf of my dad, Tom Foreman Sr., her brother, I say "Rest in peace, Helen, and tell my mom and dad I said 'Hi.'"

I apologize for your great loss of a wonderful lady. I didn't know Ms. Grandma Helen, but I had the pleasure of meeting Pat and Kathy and hearing about what a wonderful lady she was. The whole family seems very caring and respectful and I wish you all the best. God bless you all and rest in peace Ms. Grandma Helen. I'm sure you are already missed greatly.
