Surviving are his wife Shirley; his children, Fredrick and Deanne of Byron Center, Douglas and Vicky of Grandville; his stepchildren, Sandra and Owen De Ryder of Richland, Larry and Judy Loofboro of Parchment; his grandchildren, Douglas C. and Scott A. Chris Diekman, Sherri Lynn Anthony DeVries; great granddaughter McKenzie DeVries; five step grandchildren and five step great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at Beverly Reformed Church with Rev. Eildert Zwart officiating. Interment Grandville Cemetery. Memorial contributions to Hospice of Michigan. Visitation 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Cook Funeral Home west building, 4235 Prairie, Grandville.
