She was preceded in death by her husband Herman and three children.

She will be missed by her daughter Tena Hoogenraad; her grandchildren, Gwen Jeff Hazenkamp with Benjamin, Nicholas, and Elizabeth; Lisa Todd VerHage with Jordan and Brennen; and Jodi Greg Petroelje with Trevor, Austin, and Alexis.

Also surviving are her sister-in-law Lucy Van Rij; her special niece Hermina Sikkema, and many other nephews and nieces.

The funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Cook Memorial Chapel, 4235 Prairie St SW, east building with Rev. Raymond J. Sikkema officiating.

Interment will be at the Rest Lawn Memorial Park.

The family will meet with relatives and friends before the service from 1 to 2:45 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to Sunset Association.
