James E. De Good

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 52 years, Gloria (Humphreys) De Good; children, Debra Schipper and Jamie (Donald Jr.) Vos; grandchildren, Amanda (Hector) Rodriguez, Ashley (Nick) Howe, and Alyssa Schipper; brother, Jon De Good; aunt, Norma Hazzard; in-laws Jo (Orville), George, Dell (Rosella), Paul (Donna), Pat (Renabeth), and Cleve (Cancan); and many cousins and friends.

After serving his country in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict, Jim returned home and worked for West Shore Construction, building many miles of roads in Michigan. A memorial service will be held 11 am Friday, at the Cook Memorial Chapel, 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville (East Building). The family will meet with relatives and friends on Friday one hour prior to the service at the Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or American Lung Association.
