
He was preceded in death by his brother John “Jack” Pullen and his sister Irene Johns.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years Agnes; his sons, James Jean Pullen Jr., Richard Betty Pullen; his cherished grandchildren, Erica John Philo, Andrea Pullen, David Carrie Wheeler and Camille Michael Dexter; 4 great grandchildren; and his sister Adeline Ginther.
Mr. Pullen founded Novel Products Inc. Tool and Die in 1945 where he continued to work until retiring in 1999.
He was a former member of Oakdale United Methodist Church and is currently a member of the Wyoming Park United Methodist Church.
Mr. Pullen served as one of the original members of Wyoming Park Athletic Boosters Club and remained a loyal supporter of Wyoming Park Athletics until his death.
Jim was an avid golfer and bowler until the age of 88.
The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Wyoming Park United Methodist Church with Pastor Bill Johnson officiating.
The family will receive relatives and friends Monday 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, Grandville 4235 Prairie St. SW - west building.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Wyoming Park United Methodist Church Building Fund or Hospice of Michigan.
