My name is Cindy Bigelow Boyce and I am one of Wes and Madonna Bigelow's daughters. I attended the open house at the church for Jim and Agnes a few years ago along with Aunt Sally and Uncle Bryce. My father passed away one year ago today. I was very saddened to hear of your loss. Jim was such a kind hearted and wonderful man. His stories about my father and him during their childhood always brought a smile to all who listened. He told one story in particular about my Dad and him playing cowboys and Indians in the corn field. They weren't wearing very much. I think that's why they both liked to tell the story. I last heard that story and saw Jim at my own father's visitation. What a very sad time for all of us. My deepest sympathies to all of you and may time heal your now half empty hearts. On behalf of our entire family, please know that we are thinking of you, always. I am so very honored to have known one of my Dad's cousin's, but also his best friend. Love Cindy Bigelow Boyce

Jim was my Sunday school teacher many years ago at Oakdale Methodist Church and I have very fond memories of him and how nice he always was to all the kids.

I remember Jim Pullen as an excellent tenor who sang with my mom, Dorothy Waters. The building of the "speedboat" for the Gun Lake vacations at the trailer that our families owned was especially dear. God bless all of you at this sad yet triumphant time. Psalm 91:14-16

I enjoyed talking with Sr we would talk every morning about sport and then he would always have a joke to tell. Oh and his green sweater that he would wear everyday and then use it for a pillow to take a brief nap after he ate his lunch

I entered this web site looking for a sister of a friend and found this notice of James Pullen, Sr.'s death. I remember him with much fondness as I grew up in the Oakdale UMC family. He worked until 1999? Unbelievable! My father and mother, Raymond and Leone, are now in their celestial home as well. I pray my Dad, Mom and Jim are having a blessed reunion.
