Janice Stuit, age 98, went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, March 22, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey W. Stuit; parents Thomas and Margaret (Berghouse) TeBos; brother, Kerwin; sister, Louann. She is survived by her daughter, Ann (Brian) Faber; son, David (Jennifer) Stuit; granddaughters Hannah (Jon) and Martha; great-grandchildren Simon, Margaret, and Lydia; sister, Norma (Thomas) Koetje; niece, Maribeth (Dan) Way; and many other nieces, nephews, and friends.
Janice graduated from Calvin College and taught at Christian schools in Cicero, Denver, and Zeeland, before marrying. She taught at West Leonard Elementary before devoting her life to her family.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI 49418, with visitation from 1-2 p.m. prior to service. In honor of Janice and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ivanrest CRC Women’s Bible Study or Gentiva Hospice.
