Jean Ann Shaffer

SHAFFER-Jean Ann Shaffer, age 85, went to be with her Lord, Sunday, April 12, 2015. Jean was born April 14, 1929 in Grand Rapids, MI, daughter of Jules and Kathryn Westra. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert and her daughter Linda McGarry.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Bill and Jeanne Shaffer, and Karen and Rev. Peter Adams; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild on the way; sister, Kay and Norm VanHorn, sisters-in-law, Betty Westra and Marian Westra; and nieces and nephews.

Her memorial service will be held Saturday, 11 am at the Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, with Rev. Peter Adams officiating. Relatives and friends may meet her family Saturday from 10 am until time of her service at the chapel. Her family welcomes memories and messages in their guest book at www.cookcares.com.
