My deepest sympathy's on your loss. Jeanne was such a good friend when we worked together. I missed her when I moved to Saginaw 19 years ago. We stayed in touch and I would visit her when I got back to the Grand Rapids area. I didn't get to see her after she moved north, we wrote and called each other. I will always remember her for our talks. I'm so glad she was apart if my life.

Bob, Susan, Kelly, Jill, Bobbie Jo and their families, I don't think it's any secret how I felt about your wonderful wife and mother. Since 1979 we worked together, had long talks together, shared problems and joys, drama and dreams. Watched each other's kids grow up, married and and made us grandparents. Then she moved up north to a beautiful home and retirement so we had long distant talks a couple times a week. It was a happy time for her. She was a true friend and one that never forgot birthdays, Christmas, get well wishes or just a hilarious anytime card. Then on June of 2005 that horrible stroke came and tried to kill her spirit, but Jeanne wouldn't have it. There was a lot she couldn't do but that spark in her eyes never went away. The fire was still burning inside. She followed you with her eyes, she still had expressions and if you told a funny joke or story, she would laugh with the rest of us. This week God decided it was time to come home and now she is dancing with all those who were waiting for her. She is that wonderful Jeanne that we see in her picture. It's been 9 long years and Bob, you and the girls had never been closer to her. You could tell how much she loved having you there everyday. God bless you, Jeanne, and your family, she deserved all the love you gave her. Now she will wait for the rest of us. You will never be forgotten.

Bob, Sad events may have been the reason our families met as Mom (Donna Jean, or the Pirate as you nicknamed her) and the Jeannes became roommates; but gratitude for the friendship and caring during those years is all we feel now. Your love for Jeanne is so inspiring. I think Randy sort of misses the lobby chats and watching all the coming and going. He would come home week nights and tell me all the happenings and the funny Bob and Mel stories. Thanks for helping him through that time. Sorry for your huge loss.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. Jeanne (Mrs. Meindertsma as I addressed her) was always nice to me. I recall when she expressed kind words to me at the time when my folks passed away. I will always remembered her for that.
