Jim, Kendall, and Cameron - 
 I am grieving with you today at the loss of Jill. She was truly a remarkable woman, and one of my best friends. I hold the memories of her close to my heart including our time spent in Europe, her strong dislike of shopping while I dragged her from one store to the next, and just our long conversations on the phone daily multiple times. I will miss her terribly, as I know you will too. However, I am comforted by the fact that she is now at peace with the Lord. You all will continue to be in my prayers. I love you Jill! I miss you girl! But I know from the talks that we had that I will see you again someday. God bless all of you.

Jim, Kendall, Cameron and the rest of the family,
 It was truely a very sad day when my mom called to tell me of Jill's passing. Heaven is a much brighter place now that Jill, Grandpa Johnson, and Great Aunt Marie Johnson are there together. 
 We can never know what God's plans are for us, but His plans for Jill to be here with us are over. She is now in heaven and out of pain forever.
 I just wish my son Brady could have met my cool Aunt.

Jill was my friend and soul mate in high school. Jill had such an adventuresome spirit that she helped me to become adventuresome. We spent many hours working at Alger Schwinn together and riding our bikes all over Grand Rapids. Our two week camping trip to Florida gave our mothers gray hair but we traveled there and back and all over Florida in her green Maverick listening to the Eagles and the Doobie Brothers. Jill never worried about what everyone else was doing. She knew what she liked to do and she did it. She was my inspiration. My prayers are with Jim, Kendall, and Cameron-the lights of her life and also with her Mom, Lorraine. God Speed My Friend. I'll always love you.

 I have spent many moments this week thinking about what I could say to capture what Jills friendship meant to me. Our families have shared difficulties and joys over the yearsremember Hawaii I'll never forget the fun and we had. Your family will always be in my prayers as I remember Jill my dear friend. Mrs. Johnson, I was unable to be at the visitation and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for your great loss. My memories of Jill are from growing up at Zion Reformed Church. She was a Grandville School kid and I was Jenison, and back then we all just seemed to stick together accordingly. I remember Jill as someone who was always laughing and having fun, someone you wanted to be friends with. I pray that she had a wonderful life. ....I so miss my friend. I would be telling her about all the things going on in my life and she would lament or give joy to what ever came my way. She was the best. 
 Life has big spaces, twists and turns and I don't have Jill for council. She was a beacon for comfort and laughter when looking at the crummy side of life. I miss her so much....I only hope I was her equal in true friendship.
