

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Kitchen, and parents Archibald and Lillian Watson.
She will be lovingly missed by her children Richard (Nancy) Kitchen, and Judy (Donald) Strock; six grandchildren Andy (Marissa), Bob (Mandy), Dan (Heather), Kate (Mark), Susan (Jason), and Steve (Jess); 11 great-grandchildren; and many friends.
Joan and Ron were proud owners of Maple Hill Golf Course where she enjoyed working for over 35 years. She was a beautiful seamstress, loved to golf, read, watch old movies, and spend time with her family.
The family would like to thank the staff at Railside Living Center and Grace Hospice for all of their loving care and support of Joan.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 29, 2018, with visitation one hour prior, at Cook Memorial Chapel (East building), 4235 Prairie St., S.W., Grandville, Michigan. Pastor Ryan Wieland will officiate. Interment will be at Boynton Cemetery.
In memory of Joan and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association - Greater Michigan Chapter or Grace Hospice of Grand Rapids.
