John Marvin Huizinga

John was preceded in death by his beloved wife Virginia; sister Beatrice Kooinga; and brother-in-law John Van Houten.

He is lovingly remembered by his children, MaryJo Craig Boogaard of Allendale, John A. Huizinga of Middleville, Sherie Roger Compagner of Walker, William Huizinga of Grand Rapids; his 12 precious grandchildren, Laurah, Michelle, Cyle, Krysta, Cade, and Casey Boogaard, Shastyn, Elizabeth, and Zachariah Huizinga, Erin, Mason, and Robyn Compagner; his siblings, Fred Alice, Bert Van Houten, Cal Jo, Al, Bob Linda, Dave, Jim Barb, Judy Bud De Korne; and many other relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 12th at Hope Protestant Reformed Church, 1580 Ferndale SW, in Walker.

A time for friends and relatives to visit with the family will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday and 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday at the Cook Funeral Home west building 4235 Prairie St. SW in Grandville.

In honor of John, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Protestant Reformed School.
