John J. Mohr

MOHR - Mr. John J. Mohr, age 75 of Gun Lake, passed away Sunday, June 27, 1999, and went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents David J. and Dena Mohr; one brother Harold Mohr. Devoted husband, father, and grandpa. He is survived by his loving wife Bernice; his children, David and Shawne Mohr, Mary Lynn Bolt, Shirley and Dan Bultsma; his grandchildren, J.D. and Cristy, Heidi and Lance, Laura and Trent, Vickie and Terry, Matt and Shari, Mike, Jeff; two great grandsons, Tony and David; brothers and sisters, Marlin and Berdie Mohr, Joanne Berghorst, Lorraine and Ted Schreur, Jim and Anne Mohr and Ev Mohr; his sister-in-law Charlene Mohr and many other brothers and sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Wednesday 11 a.m. from Gun Lake Community Church 12200 Chief Noonday Rd. with Pastor Arlan Ten Clay officiating. Interment Dorr Cemetery. The family will meet relatives and friends Monday 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. from the Byron Center Chapel of Cook Funeral Home 2067 84th St. SW. Memorial contributions may be left to Moline Christian School and Wedgewood Acres.
