John Leonard Mol

He was surrounded by the loving arms of his family.

He was preceded in death by his brother Jacob Mol; and son-in-law Gary Senn.

He is survived by his loving and dedicated wife of 51 years Delores Bowman; his children, Darlene Senn, John Joanne Mol, Mark Shelly Mol, Lisa Bob O’Callaghan; grandchildren, Alisha, Eric, Sarah, and Amber Mol, Mark Nikki Mol, Kyle Mol, Joseph Mol fiancAC.e Nikki Marckini, Jamie Senn, Erin Chris Hoekema, Jason Rachel O’Callaghan, and Tommy O’Callaghan; great grandchildren, Jaden Rittenhouse, Kylie Mol, Gracie, Aubrey, and Charlie Hoekema.

Also surviving are his brother Leonard Peggy Mol; sisters Marge Bob Courtright; sisters-in-law, Lois Mol, and Marlene Rob Hoekstra; and many nieces and nephews.

John was a veteran of the Korean War.

He helped to glorify God’s Kingdom by serving as an elder and active member of Fair Haven Ministries, a volunteer for special Ministries for handicapped and special needs children, Meals on Wheels, and International Aid.

John will be sadly missed by all of the lives he touched and his sincere desire to do God’s work.

He was an excellent example of human compassion and a willingness to witness to the great testimony of God’s love.

The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Fair Haven Ministries, with Rev. Gary VanKoevering officiating.

The family will receive relatives and friends Monday 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, Jenison 1889 Baldwin.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or Gambro Dialysis.
