Joseph David Ferner

FERNER - Mr. Joseph David Ferner, age 48, passed away Monday, August 20, 2007. Joe was a proud business owner of Mr. Dad’s Remodeling LLC and a loyal member of the Grand Valley Cap-n-Ballers. His passions were hunting, fishing, and woodworking. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

Joe was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harry “Dad” and Edith “Dee” Kryger; mother, Lois French; sister and brother, Missy French and Mark Ferner; and mother-in-law, Sharon Rose.

He will be lovingly remembered his wife, Lisa; daughter, Brandi, and his “adopted kids” Alyssa, Andrew, and Tabitha. Also surviving are his father, Bill Ferner; parents-in-law, Donald and Lily Rose; brothers, Rick Debby Ferner, Kevin Cindy Ferner, Rob French, and Ron Stephanie French; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Douglas Jennifer Rose, Dave Michelle Rose, Mike Dunbar, and Jennifer Jim Dearth; aunts, uncles, many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, 2 p.m. at the Cook Memorial Chapel east building, 4235 Prairie SW. Relatives and friends may meet Joe’s family Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home west building.
