
Kathleen worked at the law firm of Bleakley, Cypher, Parent Warren, and Quinn for six years. She was a longtime member of First Assembly of God where she was involved with Missionettes and Tape Ministry. Mrs. Scott enjoyed spending time with family, nature walks, reading, and traveling.
She was preceded in death by her father Ivan E. Schaap. Kathleen is survived by her mother Ellen; one brother Phillip Mary Schaap; three sisters, Joanne Schaap, Sallie Phillip Zigterman, Barbara Dennis Koppenaal; five nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Saturday 11 a.m. at First Assembly of God Prayer Chapel 2100 44th St. SW with Pastor Dennis Middel officiating. Interment Georgetown Cemetery.
The family will meet with relatives and friends Thursday 7 to 9 p.m. from the Cook Funeral Home, Grandville, 4235 Prairie St. west building. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Michigan or First Assembly of God.
