

She was born to Akal and Wadai Joseph on February 4, 1931 in Alpena, MI. Preceding Her in death were three brothers, Sheridan (Ann) Joseph, Joseph Joseph, Louis Joseph and a sister, Edna (Abe) Alekel.
Surviving her are sisters Mary Joseph and Mabel Joseph of Alpena, MI., Emaline (Roger) Peck, Wyoming, MI. Anna Lampela, Lansing, MI. Helen Joseph, Anaheim CA., Martha McDonald, Alpena, MI., and several nieces and nephews.
Kathryn retired from the City of East Grand Rapids as Deputy City Treasurer after serving 25 years.
She enjoyed family gatherings, as well as golfing, traveling and making jewelry. She will be remembered by her cheery smile and her volunteering services especially at the church food pantry and Meijer Gardens gift shop.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 4, 2011, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Mike Baynai officiating at John Knox Presbyterian Church at 4150 Kalamazoo Ave, SE., Grand Rapids, North of 44th Street.
Friends may meet with the family one hour prior to the service. Memorial Contributions may be made to John Knox Presbyterian Church Food Pantry
