Kenneth P. DeMott

DE MOTT – Kenneth P. DeMott, age 58, of Jenison, left this world on Monday, August 4, 2008 to be with his daughter, Meghan Jo DeMott; his parents Millard "Bert" Lydia DeMott; and his brother, Larry DeMott.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 32 years, Janie Klok DeMott; his son, Kevin Mindy – daughter/daughter-in-law DeMott; sister, Barbara Art Burr; brother, Terry DeMott; sister-in-law, Susan Doug Wolfert; nieces and nephews, Ken Sue Burr, Kendra Burr, and Amy Trent Sall; great nephews, Grant, Levi, and Quinn; his best friend "brother", Mike Stuk; camping buddies; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Ken spent 40 years as a package designer for Packaging Corporation of America, taking only two years of that time to serve his country during the Vietman War.

The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at the Cook Memorial Chapel – Grandville East Building with Rev. Dennis Gilbert officiating. The family will meet with relatives and friends on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home , 4235 Prairie St SW, Grandville West Building.
