Kenneth R. Ensing

ENSING – Kenneth R. Ensing, age 79, of Byron Center, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 12, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Catherine Ensing and sister, Kathlyn Brown. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years, Joyce Stephens Ensing; children, Dan Betty Ensing, David Roxanne Ensing, Karen Larry Cotton, and Ken Van Ensing; grandchildren, Tim Shila, Stephen, Rachael, David Jr., Nathaniel Elizabeth, Jason Stephanie Cooper, Catherine, Joel, and Emily; great grandson Hunter; siblings, Shirley Frank Jones, and Ron Helen Ensing; brother-in-law, Bob Brown; several in-laws; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Ken was a loving husband, father, and grandfather to his entire family.

The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday at the Second Christian Reformed Church, 7588 76th SW, Byron Center, with Rev. John Douma officiating. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will meet with relatives and friends on Saturday from 6-8 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Byron Center Chapel of Cook Funeral Home, 2067 84th SW.
