Kenneth VanDenBerg

He was preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Grace VanDenBerg; sisters Lori Kloosterman, and Annie (Fred) Burgess; and brothers-in-law Harold Bazan, David McKerchie and David Newman.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 64 years, Margaret VanDenBerg; children Debra (Chuck) Kroll, Leonard (Cindy) VanDenBerg, and Wes (Lori) VanDenBerg; six grandsons; one granddaughter; three great-grandchildren and one little blessing on the way; siblings Betty Bazan, Mel (Lorraine) VandenBerg, Larry (Greta) VanDenBerg, and Linda (Vick) Berkompas; sisters-in-law Kathleen McKerchie, and Caroline Newman; brother-in-law, Gary (Mary) Wierenga; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Ken enjoyed many hobbies throughout his life including traveling, hunting, fishing, golfing and spending time with his family. Later in life, one of his greatest joys was maintaining his lawn. Ken proudly served his country in the United States Army National Guard.

A memorial visitation with the family will be held from 4 - 7 p.m. on Friday, September 27, 2019 at Cook Funeral Home - Byron Center Chapel, 2067 84th St., Byron Center, MI 49315.
