L. Roger Johnson

He was preceded in death by his parents Axel and Dorothy Johnson; sisters Dolores (Elwood) VanderVeer and Judy (Denny) Hansen; and in-laws Guy E. and Carol Weeks.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 47 years, Pat Johnson; children Mark (Bequi) Johnson, Kris (Lyndon) Wood, Ben (Pam) Johnson, Sara (Brian) Kropp; grandchildren Kelsey (Derek) Spooner, Austin, Ava and Andrew Kropp, Nicholas and Connor Johnson; brother-in-law, Guy G. (Nancy) Weeks; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special “thank you” to the caring staff at Medilodge of Wyoming.

Visitation will be held from 4 - 7 p.m. on Monday, June 11, 2018 at Cook Funeral Home (West building), 4235 Prairie St., S.W., Grandville, MI 49418. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Wesley Park United Methodist Church, 1150 32nd St., S.W., Wyoming, MI 49509, with visitation from 10 -10:45 a.m. Reverend Dean Prentiss officiating. Interment will be at Georgetown Cemetery.

In honor of Roger and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Faith Hospice or Wesley Park United Methodist Church.
