He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth and daughter Carolyn. He is survived by his son, David Lisa Schwandner; grandsons, Michael Jessica and great grandson Logan; Brian Stacy, Matthew and Branden Schwandner.

Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Cook Memorial Chapel, 4235 Prairie St. SW east building with Rev. Allen Bultman officiating.

The family will receive relatives and friends Friday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, Grandville west building and one hour prior to services Saturday.
