Lenora Rus, age 96, went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, June 3, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Rus. She is survived by her children Kim (Anita) Rus, Steve Rus (Patricia Walter), and Mary Banning; grandchildren Jason (Tlana) Banning, Nathan Banning, and Martin Rus; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Lenora graduated from Calvin College and used her RN degree serving at many different offices. She cherished her lifelong friendships with many fellow nurses. She was a member of Ivanrest CRC for over 50 years. Lenora was a good friend to all she met. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, but most of all she loved her Lord.
Her family wants to thank Kelly Berendsen who was her caregiver the last four years and the special neighborhood families of Becky Dykuis and Stephani Holleman who were always there for Lenora.
A celebration of life service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Ivanrest CRC, 3777 Ivanrest Ave. SW, Grandville, Michigan 49418, with visitation prior to the service beginning at 10 a.m. In honor of Lenora, contributions may be made to Resonate Global Mission c/o Tony Meyer.
