She graduated from Pine Rest Christian Nursing School, where she worked until the birth of her children Tamela, Timothy, and Marc. Later, she worked for several years at Grand Oldsmobile. She loved the people and her job.
She was a member of Hope CRC for many years until retiring and moving to Lake City, MI. Dale and Leona spent 20 some years going to Florida for the winter, where we made so many wonderful memories. Presently, she was a member of Lake City CRC, where she loved attending the ladies weekly Bible study. She also helped start a widows group after Dale's passing. She played dominoes weekly with her friends. She loved to cook, bake, and play cards when family and friends visited the lake. She spent the last years crocheting beautiful afghans for all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a dear, sweet mom. She loved her Lord, family and friends, and she loved to laugh and have fun! We loved her dearly and will miss her with all of our hearts.
