RODRIGUEZ - Mr. Liberato M. “Rod” Rodriguez, age 84, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2006.
Rod served his country with the US Army during WWII and was awarded the Purple Heart.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elva and his daughter, Carmen. Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Rosa and Douglas Host of Hudsonville; grandchildren, Eric and Jaime Host of Dearborn; great grandchildren, Keagan and Keira Host; and his brother, Ramon Rodriguez of CA.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, 8 p.m. at the Cook Memorial Chapel east building, 4235 Prairie SW, with Rev. Donald Weber officiating.
Relatives and friends may meet Rod’s family Tuesday from 7 p.m. until the time of the service.
Contributions in memory of Rod may be made to Heartland Hospice.
