Marilyn and family, our prayers and thoughts are with you. When I was a student secretary at Grand Valley many years ago, you and Linc welcomed me into your lives and your home. Your Christian walk was an example for me, your marriage was an example for us. Lincoln's gentle spirit, guiding words and wonderful sense of humor have been with us, even though we have not seen you in many years. We were blessed to have Linc be a part of our lives, you both played a role in the people we are today. God Bless You, give you comfort and wrap His arms around you. Dear Marilyn and family: We pray that God will strengthen you and cover you with His presence as you grieve over Lincoln's leaving life on earth, yet rejoicing in the knowledge he is in a better place and some day there will be a blessed reunion. Deut. 33:27 We are so sorry we are unable to attend Lincoln's funeral because of health reasons. Just want you to know Lincoln was special to us and we will be in touch with you. Dear Marilyn and family, Today was a hard day for my mother, thinking about her brother and how sad his family is and that Mom and Dad couldn't be with you today to help and give comfort. Then we started talking about our memories of Lincoln. We talked about how strongly religious he has been all his life. From when he was a boy scout as a youth through adulthood as a father and husband. He has left us all with many memories that will be held dear to our hearts. Now Lincoln is off on a new mission and although he will be missed he still lives on in those memories. Your Pacific Northwest family wishes we could be with you all today and send you our love, throughts and prayers.
