Lois A. Anderson

ANDERSON (Kooistra) a?" Lois A. Anderson, on Thursday, November 10, 2011, at the age of 69, entered her heavenly home to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ, following a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Jennie Kooistra; and brothers, Henry "Hanka?? (Doris) Kooistra and Joe Kooistra. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 43 years, Carl Anderson; her children, Deb (Tony) Hibbard and Todd (Kate) Anderson; her grandchildren, Isaac, Mya, Joseph, and Evan; brother, John (Barb) Kooistra; sisters-in-law, Claudene Kooistra; Carolyn (Jim) DeBoer, and Kris (Bruce) Olson; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

The funeral service will be held 11 am Monday at the Cook Memorial Chapel, 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville (East Building) with Pastor Brian Bosscher officiating. Interment will be at Georgetown Cemetery. The family will meet with relatives and friends on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Cook Funeral Home, Grandville (West Building) and one hour prior to the service at the chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions may be made to Potter's House Christian School, Zeeland Christian School, or Faith Hospice-Trillium Woods.
