Marie was a strong Catholic woman of faith, never missing a weekly Mass. She raised a family of five and then established a long career with Meijer as a bookkeeper. She longed to be able to see her two children who passed way too early. Marie was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Charles B. Kellogg; children Kathy Kellogg Weed, and David Kellogg. She will be remembered by her children Steven (Kim) Kellogg, Sharon (Jim) Darby, and Karen (Jeff) Ridder; six grandchildren Jamie Weed, Nick Weed, Stacey Martinez, Josh (Christy) Kellogg, Nicole (Charlie) Kolasa, and Lindsey (Jacob) Luft; and seven great-grandchildren.
A celebration service of Marie’s Life will commence 11 a.m. Monday, December 2, 2024, with visitation one hour prior, at Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI 49418. In honor of Marie and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 1630 Godfrey Ave. SW, Wyoming, MI 49509. Interment will be at Grandville Cemetery.
