My deepest sympathies to your entire family. Marilyn was a dear friend who I had the pleasure of meeting in Michigan in 2004. She was an asset to GROWW and became a terrific Host and Asst. Manager for our main Grief Recovery chat room. Marilyn helped many people survive their journey through grief. Her death came as a shock to all of us, we never ever expected it. She will be in our hearts forever.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the passing of your dear Mother, Marilyn. My heart ached yesterday with the news.
 I met your mother in GROWW 10 months ago, a short 2 weeks after my husband passed. Over the past 10 months she has been there for me when IA've cried, cheered me on when I achieved something I thought was beyond what I could do, and laughed with me when something tickled her or my fancy. She was a delightful woman.My only regret is that I never met her in person to thank her personally.

Ah..sweet Marilyn...you've earned your wings my dear. Look down on us from the most joyous garden and send warm fuzzies our way. I am so glad we lived 10 miles away. We had the opportunity to get together from time to time, face to face. We shared those wonderful GROWW hugs together. My favorite moment was when we downloaded MIRC and went into Golden Angels and flipped everyone out. I am blessed to include you in my memory bouquet.

Sweet Marilyn, After losing our beautiful daughter to a twenty year battle with childhood diabetes I desperately searched for meaning. I was a lost soul in dark realm of dispair. Through my search I came upon Groww. There I found comfort amoung friends who I found shared this commonality, a search for peace. And there amidst these wonderful friends was Marilyn, a kind and caring soul who held us and helped us in our search. We Cried hard and laughed hard. It has been an honor to work along side Marilyn as a host in the GROWW chatrooms. Even as a host, many times we have dark days - and I have had those days so often it seems- and Marilyn has always been there with words of comfort. It is so hard to loose those we love - even when we know they are Home now - and that they indeed are in our future - - not just in our past. I will be keeping Marilyn's family in my prayers - - I know that the prayers of others has brought me through so much - - and now it is my turn to lift all of you - Marilyh's family up in prayer as well.

What a blessing it was for me to meet Marilyn in the GROWW Grief support group after the loss of my mother in May of 2004. Marilyn was one of the first to "greet me" and extend her hand, her heart, her compassion and her healing, loving words. I will always remember Marilyn for her kindness toward me. I can only hope one day to be able to help others on their journey as she has helped me so profoundly on my own healing journey.

To Marilyns family, I met Marilyn a little over a year ago in GROWW. When I became a host she was the first person to welcome me and help show me the ropes of hosting. marilyn and family ; i didn't know marilyn long enough...but i knew enough to realize what a special lady she was.marilyn was my number 1 supporter while i am quitting smoking..always asking me what day i was on and giving me encouragement. i have had many losses in my 43 years and she was one of the many gh on groww to offer me comfort when i was in my depths of despair...for which i am eternally grateful. you were a fortunate family to have one such as marilyn in it. i know how heartbroken yous must be at this time of great sorrow...but please know how much she was loved and respected by all who's lives she touched...and that was certainly more than we can ever really know. rest peacefully marilyn, you've more than earned your wings. loving thoughts to you all . tease

Please accept our deepest condolences upon the loss of your mother, grandmother & friend. We never had the pleasure to meet Marilyn in person; only through correspondence relating to genealogy. She was instrumental in introducing the England Bilsborrows with the Washington State Bilsborrows. Our two families have corresponded since; making a trek to England in 2003 to visit the places our ancestors walked. Thank you Marilyn! If it weren't for you we wouldn't have had this unbelievable experience!

Dear Marilyn,
 If I could only talk to you one more time to let you know how much I thought of you. Too late now? I don't know because you're probably sitting on a cloud up there with angel wings watching and grinningwhat I am typing right now. It was a great privilege to have known you and to have met you as well as your family in person. I will miss our telephone conversations and our e-mail correspondence very much but at the same time I cherish them. Thanks a whole bunch for all your genealogy help in the past. Do say "hello" up there to Ken for me will you? Trust the two of you will have a great time now that you're together again.

To Ken Jr., Beth, and your families, I was sad to hear the news of your mother's passing. I will always remember her fondly, and can picture her smile and hear her distinct laugh even now. I am glad that I had the opportunity to send her an e-mail before her sugery, to let her know that we were praying for her, and was touched by her reply.
