She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Carl Hays; infant son, Lee Laverne Hays; parents, Aumund and Lulu Lee; brothers William, Chancey, and Ralph.
Surviving are her son Brent (Sandy) Hays; two granddaughters Holly Hays, and Laurie (Mike) Grypma; two great-grandchildren Connor and Kennedy Grypma; and a nephew and several nieces.
Private family services will be held at the Cook Memorial Chapel with graveside interment services at Grandville Cemetery.
