Marjorie Henson (Klop)

Marjorie Henson (Klop), age 89, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on Sunday, July 30, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband Lynworth Henson; parents Maurice and Jennie Klop and her seven siblings.

She will be lovingly missed by her children Thomas (Judith) Henson, Judith (Michael) Malek and Edward (LuAnne) Henson; grandchildren Lisa, Greg, Ryan, Jami, Kristen; great-grandchildren Madison, Sydney, Kylar, Emberlyn, Aidan, Kaylee; special friend Jason Krikke; in-laws Russell Engbers, Delaven (Debbie) Henson; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation with the family will be held 6-8 PM on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building), 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville, Michigan. Funeral Services will be held at 12th Avenue Christian Reformed Church, 7551 12th Ave, Jenison, Michigan, at 11 AM on Thursday, August 3, 2017, with visitation one hour prior starting at 10 AM. Pastor James Evenhouse will be officiating. Interment will be at Georgetown Cemetery.

In honor of Marjorie and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Great Lakes Caring Hospice Foundation.
