She was preceded in death by her parents John and Ilamae Bowman; sister, Eleanor DeRoos; and in-laws Tony and Jenny Hoekstra.
She will be lovingly missed by her husband, Robert Hoekstra; children Robert (Kathy) Hoekstra, Richard (Vicki) Hoekstra, Ila (Hank) Eisenga, Jan (Bruce) Bylsma and Mike (Krista) Hoekstra; 21 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; sister Dee Mol; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 19, 2019, with an hour of visitation prior from 1 - 2 p.m., at Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building), 4235 Prairie, S.W., Grandville, MI 49418. Pastor Ken Stults will be officiating. Interment will be at Georgetown Cemetery.
