Martha Bruinsma (DeBoer)

Martha Bruinsma (DeBoer), age 88, died peacefully at home on Sunday, June 19, 2016 in the loving care of her family with a heart full of faith and love. Martha left behind a beautiful Christian legacy. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Bruinsma in 2002; her grandchildren Kevin and Jason Bruinsma; and all of her nine siblings.

She leaves behind her children Steve (Kris) Bruinsma, Linda Bruinsma, Dave (Julie) Bruinsma, Jeff (Joanne) Bruinsma; grandchildren Jessica and Jeremy Uitvlugt, Michelle and Troy DeKleine, Michael and Ashley Bruinsma, Stacy and Matt Nichols, ten great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be held 4-8PM Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Cook Funeral Home (West Building) – 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville, MI. Funeral service will be held at 11AM, Wednesday, June 22, 2016 with visitation one hour prior at South Grandville Christian Reformed Church – 4130 Wilson Ave SW, Grandville, MI. Pastor Daniel Mouw will be officiating. Interment will be at Grandville Cemetery.
