He will be deeply missed by his wife of 45 years, Sally; daughter, Michelle Mike Vredevoogd and their children, Max and Mason; son, Shane Karen Sutton and their children, Ben and Clara; sister, Marcia Rich Markules; sister-in-law, Pat Bob Carpenter, and dear aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Martin will be held Saturday, 10 AM, at his church, Bethel Lutheran, 3655 Wilson SW, with Rev. Glenn P. Kopper officiating.
Relatives and friends may meet his family from 9 AM until the time of the service.
