Mary Lou Lamers

LAMERS - Mrs. Mary Lou Lamers, age 82, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2007 and is now walking with her Lord. Mary was a charter member of Fairhaven Ministeries. She was born September 13, 1924 to Albert and Eva VandeBrink and was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis J. Lamers.

Surviving are her sons, Delbert C. Ann Lamers, and Michael H. Deb Lamers; grandchildren, Jennie Josh McConnon, Meghan Ken Hershberger, Allison Lamers, Joshua Lamers, Morgan Kevin Cisler, and Katie Lamers; great grandchildren, Isaiah, Eli, Simeon, Grace, Max, Turk, Obadiah, and Hope; sisters, Pat Ed Kacos, Betty Jones, and Alta Jerry Stevens; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Monday, 10:30 a.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, Jenison Chapel, 1889 Baldwin, with Pastor Gary VanKoevering officiating. Interment will be at Georgetown Township Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may meet Mary Lou’s family Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home and Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Those unable to attend the visitation or funeral service may sign the family’s Memory Book at www.cookfuneralservices.com.
