Momma Boots. I met the Wolfe's when I was 8 years old and they have been family ever since. Bootsie was the BEST. I spent my childhood at Wolfe's Resort. I watched my big brother Georgie exceed in football. I remember the first time I met Bootsie she was ironing with two iron shaped rocks places on the stove to heat in order to iron. I was Bootsie's side kick when doing laundry from the cabins and another chores that had to be done. I remember when she laughed, she snorted and would make us laugh even more. We had many meals prepared by Grandma Blanche and Boot, Hank & I would sit at the little table. Boots would hold my head when I got car sick on the way to Georgies football games. She would give up smoking during lent. I remember her holding me and stroking my hair as I sit watching the gas lights flicker. The many nights playing charades. The many nights we dances till the gas ran out of the generator. How she would always grab my tush and say oh little butt. I will remember the scarf she bought for me for Christmas, it was gold and brown with swirls. The time Georgie was having a party and we had to go all over Marquette looking for a whiffle ball and then had to paint it with red nail polish so it could be seen in the snow. Bootsie liked things white, George's football uniform was so white she bleached the numbers off and had to paint them with black shoe polish. I will remember how excited she was when we last visited her. She had the cereal box out and ready to feed us at 5:30am. I will never forget the many hugs and kisses she used to sign off her letters, with the many stickers. I will never forget how loved she made me feel. The Heavens have one Fabulous Angel and we are so lucky to have had you in our lives. Forever in my heart. Love ya MY Bootsie.

Bootsie was a beautiful lady inside and out !! She genuinely loved people and had a wonderful way of making you feel totally accepted and loved. Bootsie was like a second mom to me. She and my mother become instant friends when they worked together at Schrader's Grocery in Massillon Ohio in the mid 1950's. Even though miles separated us for many years, our friendship remained strong.
 I will cherish memories of shopping together in downtown Canton; later night dance parties at our house on Jackson Ave (Bootsie loved to jitter-bug to "Be=bop a Lula, She's My Baby") ; and hilarious times at Horseshoe lake where we vacationed as a family. Those times often required a change of undies , if you get my drift! Oh, what fun we had!!! Bootsie will surely will be missed. However, it warms my heart to know she is with the Lord, is no longer in pain and is reunited with my parents and other relatives and friends enjoying the blessings of heaven.

Dear George and family,
 this was a wonderful woman who raised an incredible man in George Wolfe. George and I worked together a number of years at Steelcase and it's through him that I learned of his wonderful mother.
 At George's retirement celebration, Boots was one of many guests but she stood out in a quality way. She and I shared a number of stories of how proud she was of her son.
 God bless her and may she rest in eternal peace.

Boots was my 2nd Mama, as we lovingly called her... My siblings and I spent many summers at "Wolfe's Resort" swimming and just having fun..Boots took us kids to her heart and loved us like we were her own... but she was that way about everybody... SHE WAS LOVE..... I have such wonderful memories as a kid growing up in the Upper Peninsula and some of the best memories were spent with the Wolfe family... I will miss you Mama Boots.... Thank you for giving us your love, smile, hugs and good cooking... YOU ARE LOVED....

George, Marcia & Family,
 I am so sorry to hear of Boots passing. We worked together for many years at Honeywell. I remember when she came to work there, we just hit it off immediately. We always had fun together wether it was at work or on one of our little weekend trips to Prescott ... Bloody Mary's first thing in the morning after an evening on 'Whiskey Row'. There are so many memories of our times together that I will forever hold in my heart.
