
He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years Velma; his daughter Lynne Groendyke Davidson; and 3 brothers, Allen, Bud, and Ted Groendyke.
He is survived by his sons, Richard and Linda Groendyke of Jenison, Tim and Beth Groendyke, Trent and Robyn Groendyke both of Grandville; six cherished grandchildren, Lisa and Nate Davidson, Bret and Emmy Groendyke, Jennifer Mike Lenard, Cory Julie Jurrians; six great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Benjamin and Trent Jurrians, Donald, Carleigh and Matthew Lenard; sisters, Thelma Cornelius Vander Zouwen and Suzette Ulberg-VanKampen.
Funeral services will be held Monday 1p.m. at First Reformed Church of Grandville, 3060 Wilson Ave., with Rev. Neil VanHeest officiating.
Interment will be at Grandville Cemetery.
Mink, a life long resident of Grandville, served in WWII as an Army Air Corp B 29 Captain.
He loved his family, his church, flying, and winters in Arizona, complete with gold prospecting.
The family will receive relatives and friends Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, Grandville west building 4235 Prairie St, SW.
