I was so sorry to hear about Mitzi. As you know we were always passed off as sisters when in truth it was a friendship from the first day at West Elementary. I will never forget all the good times we had together and the special person she truly was. God Bless you all.

Ty and Kam, I was so sorry to hear of Mitzi's passing. I only just heard about it recently and I can't believe it. She always welcomed me with a hello and a smile at school everyday. We were in different grades but we still talked when we could. She was the sweetest girl. So unaware of her beauty and talent. It separated her from all of us. Mindy and I just wanted to send our deepest sympathies even if we are very late in doing so. She was a real special person. Mitzi and I attended high school together and I got to know her a bit while on the softball team. I remember Mitzi as a gifted athlete and a warm and funny person who charmed us with her personality. I also remember Mitzi's Hawaiian dance performance at a Wyoming Park variety show. Only a freshman, she had so much charisma that the audience was riveted. A lovely girl. I cannot imagine that this core of Mitzi, whatever her struggles, ever disappeared. My heart is with you, Mr. and Mrs. Tanis, Kam and Ty.

Kam, Ty and Mr. & Mrs. Tanis. I waited in line for a hour to pay my respects Kam, but I had to pick up my daughter from church at 9:00 so I had leave. You have my sympathy in your loss. Sorry we didn't get to funeral home. We sing in our church choir and had Ash Wednesday services. Got to funeral home at 8:15, long line; could tell it would be well after 9:00 and felt you already had a long, hard day.
