Mona Jane Stobbe

STOBBE-Mona Jane Stobbe, age 90, completed her earthly journey and went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 8, 2012. Waiting to meet her there were her parents, Henry and Fannie Hiddema, her husband of 50 years, John, and her brothers, John Hiddema and Marv Hiddema.

She will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her children (grandchildren) Joanne Stobbe, David and Hang Stobbe (David, Katie), Sharon and David Frye (Jodi and Mike Riemersma, Alex and Cyndie, Kelynn), Phil and Carrie Stobbe (Drew, Tasha, Taylor, Amber and Ray Gamez, Reid, Chelsea and Eric), Marcia Stobbe, Carole Cooley and Rick Van Dam (Geoff and Alyssa Mester, Jordan Mester and fiancAC. Mindy) and great-grandchildren, Emily and Eli. She is also survived by her sister, Fran and Bruno Frigoli, her sisters-in-law, Johanna Hiddema and Myrt Hiddema, and her dear lifelong friend, Ardith Gorter.

The funeral service for Mona will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at the Cook Memorial Chapel (east building), 4235 Prairie St. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 11, from 6:00- 8:00 pm and Wednesday, December 12 from 2:00- 4:00 pm and 6:00 -8:00 pm at the Cook Funeral Home, Grandville (west building).
