Norman VanLangen

VANLANGEN - Norman Lloyd VanLangen, of Jenison, age 81, went to be with his Lord, Monday, August 25, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents Abe and Janet VanLangen, his sister, Elsa Texer Brouwer and his infant great-grandson, Trayton K. Fisher.

Norman will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 years, Jucille VanLangen (Alofs); his children, Linda (Ken) Westhuis of Hudsonville, Carol (David) Bly of St. Joseph, Lois (Terry) Dalman of Hudsonville, Joanne (Dan) Postmus of Hudsonville; his 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Cleone Meulenbelt, Kathleen Helmus, Clarice (Ed) Zuidema, Janice (Al) VanHaitsma, Ruth (Ken) Postma; his brothers- and sisters-in-law, Fernley (Eleanor) Alofs, Anetta (Don) VanderJagt, Geneva (Dave) Adkins, Les Brouwer; and many nieces and nephews.

Norman served in the U.S. Army.

A time for relatives and friends to visit with Norman's family will be held from 5 to 8 PM Wednesday, August 27, at Cook Funeral Home in Grandville, 4235 Prairie St. SW (West building). Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday, August 28, at Cook Memorial Chapel (East building). Rev. Shawn Hulst will be officiating. Interment will be at Georgetown Cemetery.
