Oscar will be lovingly remembered by his sons, David J. and Beth Hernandez and Timothy R. Hernandez; his grandsons, Joseph, Deaven and Logan Hernandez; his mother, Olivia Hernandez; his siblings, Jesse (Beth) Hernandez, Jr., Miguel (Barbie) Hernandez, Olivia "Mary" Hernandez, Ramon Hernandez, Thomas (Andrea) Hernandez; and many nieces and nephews.
Oscar was not a flashy guy... except when it came to his Harley. He loved to ride, work on, buy stuff for and talk about his bike. He could fix anything and really enjoyed his work as a truck driver. Oscar was a Detroit Lions fan and never gave up hope of a Super Bowl. You could always find Pops wearing shorts. His sons remember going to monster truck rallies and watching WrestleMania with Oscar. He was proud of his service in the US Navy as a SeaBee which took him all over the world, including a trip to Antarctica. Oscar could talk to anyone about anything, but especially loved to talk about, collect and listen to music. He had cassette tapes, reel to reel, albums; his stereo was always on. Flea markets and Mexican food were some of the other things in life that Oscar enjoyed. All of those things paled in comparison to the love and devotion he had for his sons, David and Tim. That love and pride grew to include his three precious grandsons.
