Patricia Ann Scholten

SCHOLTEN Albright – Patricia Ann Scholten, age 71, of Grandville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 12, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Gertrude Albright; sister, Rita VanVugt; and father and mother-in-law, James and Grace Scholten. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, James R. Scholten; daughters, Terri Bill Herberg and Tanya Doug Lockwood; grand children, Stephanie Herberg, and Sienna and Lance Lockwood; sister, Marie Skinner; brother-in-law, Peter VanVugt; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Pat was totally devoted to her faith, to loving one another, and dedicated to instilling those values in her family. She enjoyed her time at Big Star Lake, Lake Havasu City, AZ, and traveling with family and friends. She was a charter member of St. Piux X Catholic Church and faithful to Eucharistic Adoration.

A Funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3939 Wilson, Grandville. The family will meet with relatives and friends on Monday from 2-4 p.m. with the Rosary being prayed at 3:45 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with a Vigil service held at 8:30 pm at the Cook Funeral Home, 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville West Building. The family wishes to give special thanks to Amy VanVugt, and Sue Zylstra, Roxanne Gates, and staff of Hospice of Michigan.
