Pearl Joy Grooters

GROOTERS, Pearl J. Grooters age 63 of Byron Center went to be with her Lord and Savior, on Monday August 8, 2005.

She was preceded in death by her parents Bert and Johanna VanDam, her sister Gladys Hage and twin granddaughters Angela and Andrea Pittman.

She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Henry; her children Steven Tami Grooters of Byron Center, Sheryl Bill Pittman of Newaygo and Diane Greg Young of Wyoming; grandchildren Rebecca, Matthew and Ashley Grooters, Kristyn and Andrew Pittman; her sister Joyce John Ossewaarde and brother Kenneth VanDam and brother-in-law John Hage.

Pearl attended Covenant Christian Reformed Church and was a charter member.

Funeral services will be held 11 am Thursday at Covenant Christian Reformed Church, 7171 Willard SE, Cutlerville.

The family will receive relatives and friends Tuesday 7 to 9 pm and Wednesday 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm at the Cook Funeral Home, Byron Center 2067 84th St.

Burial will be at Winchester Cemetery.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Alan Campbell and Wendy Conner R.N. for 5 years of loving care, during her battle with cancer.
