Rayce Maverick Darby

Rayce loved being outdoors. He loved camping, bogging, and shooting his hand-built guns. He was a free spirit and when the wind blew he went along and enjoyed the ride. He was loved by everyone he knew and everyone with whom he came in contact.

He is survived by his parents Jeremy Darby and Chris Beech; his sister, Aleisha Darby; step-brother, William Beech III; his bonus brothers Billy and Chase Peckham; grandparents Bert (Mary) Darby, Helen Gray, Darlene (Phil) Waldron, Dennis (Rosie) McClure, and William Beech Sr.; great-grandmother, Ruth Hoag; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.

A celebration of Rayce’s life will be held at 11 am Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Elmdale Church of the Nazarene, 11830 Drew Rd., Alto, MI. The family will receive relatives and friends from 4 -7 pm Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at the Cook Funeral Home, Byron Center, 2067 84th St., SW, and one hour prior to services on Thursday at church.
