
Surviving are his wife, Ardis Bowman; his daughters, Janet and Bill Henry of Hastings, Judy and Bill Harrison of Caledonia, Joyce and Jack Brown of Canton, NC; eight grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; his brothers and sisters, Myron and Emma Burgess, Dorothy and Harry Glupker, Gladys Bisbee, Fred and Annie Burgess, Geraldine VanSweden; brothers and sisters-in-law, Rol and Jo Strating, Pauline Burgess, Jean Burgess, Marian Burgess and Kay Burgess.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 24th at Peace Reformed Church, 6950 Cherry Valley SE in Caledonia, with Rev. Wayne Kiel and Rev. G. David Korsen officiating.
Interment will be in Blain Cemetery.
The family will meet with relatives and friends on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, 2067 84th St SW in Byron Center.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bowens Mill Chapel or Visiting Nurse Hospice.
