Rich served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He beamed with pride when his two grandsons, Todd and Troy, also decided to serve in the United States Air Force. The light of his life was his wife of 66 years, Linda; and his children, Rich and Jennifer. He loved playing golf, boating, and especially spending time with his daughter, Jennifer.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Linda Berglund; children Rich (Rachel) Berglund, Jennifer; grandchildren Todd (Ashleigh) Berglund, Troy Berglund; and great-granddaughter, Anna.
A celebration of Rich’s life will be held 11 a.m. Friday, July 7, 2023 at Cook Memorial Chapel, 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI 49418, with visitation from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service. In memory of Rich’s love for animals and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a humane society of one’s choosing.
