Richard “Dick” L. Griffin, age 79, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents Fern and Walter Griffin.
He will be remembered by his wife Mary Jo Griffin; children Matthew Griffin, Jennifer (John) Endres; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; siblings John (Carolyn) Griffin, Charles (Carolyn) Griffin: and many nieces and nephews.
Dick, a former high school and MSU baseball player also taught Physical Education in Wyoming Public Schools for over 34 years. He had a love for travel and had been to Alaska seven times. Dick was an avid hunter and fisherman (the perch in Lake Michigan are feeling safer).
A memorial service will be held at 2PM Friday, April 15, 2016 at Cook Memorial Chapel - East building, 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI. Ron Hofstra will be officiating.
