Richard Holmgren

HOLMGREN Richard Holmgren, age 82 went to be with his Lord at home with family at his side on Tuesday, October 23, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife Donna Holmgren; parents Clarence and May Holmgren; brother Jack Holmgren. He will be lovingly remembered by his children Steve Holmgren, Sandy Holmgren, Dave (Shelley) Holmgren, Mark Holmgren; grandchildren Aaron, Rose, Angela, Angelo, Donna, Jerrieme, Tammy and Ron; seven great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; companion Johan Balkon; sisters Pat Thome, Ruthanne Skrycki; many nieces and nephews. He was the owner of the Grand Rapids Butcher Supply Company and retired in 1991.

A memorial Mass will be held at 11am Saturday, November 10, 2012 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3937 Wilson SW with Fr. Chris Rouech will be presiding. Relatives and friends may meet Richard's family at 10 am prior to the time of the Mass. In honor of Richard, contributions may be made to Habitat for Humanity of Lake County.
