Richard Anthony Kalinowski, age 81, went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, October 22, 2022. He was preceded in death by his son, Richard Leon Kalinowski and his parents Anthony and Caroline Kalinowski. He will be lovingly missed by his wife of 54 years, Iris; and daughter, Lisa Brown (Michael); grandchildren Daniel Pentinga, Sara Brown, Abigail Brown, and Marlene Smith (Adam); two great-grandsons; sister, Cheryl Fritz (Ron); and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He proudly served in the Navy active and reserve for six years. His hobbies included building remote control airplanes and model ships. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, boating, and waterskiing. He loved being a dad and grandpa and enjoyed being with all his family.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Cook Funeral Home (West building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI. Funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 26 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 2700 Baldwin St., Jenison, MI, with visitation one hour prior. Interment will be at Georgetown Cemetery.
