Richard Meyer

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha in 1998.

Surviving are his sons and their wives, Marvin and Marilyn, Richard and Winifred and David and Linda. Richard was a special grandfather to Mary Stewart Kreun, Marla David Blomquist, Mark Brenda Meyer, Pamela Steven Powney, Patrick Carol Meyer, Joel Rebecca Meyer, Michelle Meyer, Bethany, Andrew, Benjamin, Seth and Leah Meyer; fourteen great grandchildren; two brothers, one sister, one sister-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Richard was known for his quick wit and his willingness to help fix anything and everything.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, February 16th at the Sunset Manor Chapel, 725 Baldwin St in Jenison, with Rev. Laryn Zoerhof and Rev. Henry Van Wyk officiating.

Interment will be in Georgetown Township Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may meet Richard’s family on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, 1889 Baldwin St in Jenison and for one hour prior to the time of service at the Sunset Manor.
