
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Doris; brothers, Alfred Swainston and Charles Swainston; sisters, Lucille Homrich, Julia Sabin; and special nephew Kevin Lunau. Mr. Swainston is survived by his brother Richard and Johanna Swainston; sisters, Irene Mills, Edna Gould, Ella James, Thelma and Edwin VanderZee; sisters-in-law, Margaret Swainston and Janet Steen; special niece Kathy Rahorst and many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday from the Cook Funeral Home - Byron Center Chapel, 2067 84th St. with Rev. Jonathon White and Rev. Kathy Lunau Rahorst officiating. Interment Blain Cemetery. The family will meet with visitors Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home - Byron Center Chapel.
